What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file that a website you visit stores in your browser. On later requests the site reads the file to recognize you or to remember your preferences. This policy explains the cookies used on pipemonday.com and app.pipemonday.com by [legal entity name] (PipeMonday).

The cookies we use

We use only these three cookies:

CookiePurposeDuration
__Host-sessionSession cookie: keeps you signed in after login. Strictly necessary.Up to 30 days; deleted when you sign out
themeTheme cookie: remembers your light or dark theme preference.1 year
NEXT_LOCALELanguage cookie: remembers your interface language (Turkish or English).1 year

The session cookie is created when you sign in; the theme and language cookies are created when you change the related preference. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics or tracking tools. We do not build profiles from cookies and do not share cookie data with anyone. The session cookie can be read only by the server (HttpOnly) and requires an encrypted connection.

Third-party cookies

At the payment step you are taken to the secure payment page of iyzico Ödeme Hizmetleri A.Ş. That page uses iyzico's own cookies for payment security and 3D Secure verification; they are governed by iyzico's cookie and privacy policy and are not controlled by PipeMonday.

Legal basis

The session cookie is strictly necessary to provide the service; the theme and language cookies only store a choice you made yourself. These cookies are processed under KVKK article 5(2) on the basis of performance of a contract and legitimate interest; under the cookie guidance of the Personal Data Protection Board, explicit consent is not required for cookies of this kind. We use no cookie that requires explicit consent.

Managing cookies

You can view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings:

  • Chrome and Edge: Settings, then Privacy and security.
  • Firefox: Settings, then Privacy and Security.
  • Safari: Settings, then Privacy (macOS) or Settings, then Safari (iOS).

If you block the session cookie you cannot sign in to the application, because your signed-in state is held only in this cookie. If you delete existing cookies, you need to sign in again on your next visit. If you block the theme and language cookies, your preferences are asked again on each visit or the default setting is used; the rest of the service keeps working.

Changes and contact

If the cookies we use change, we update this policy with a new date. For questions, use the contact form on pipemonday.com or [notice email address]. Details on how we process your personal data are in the KVKK Privacy Notice and the Privacy Policy.
